Inversions: Play Around- Go Upside Down!
Always wanted to try an inversion in class, but haven’t mustered the courage for it just yet? Mastering inversion is one of the biggest challenges in asana practice. Inversions require both physical strength, as well as the ability to let go of fear and limitations we set for ourselves and for our practice. In this Inversion workshop, we will address the mechanics of poses like Headstand, Tripod Headstand, Shoulder Stand, and Forearm Stand. We will focus on alignment, the use of props, as well as the preparatory poses to strengthen shoulders and improve balance.
